RBAS provides access to three (3) key services: Interlibrary Loan (ILL), Book Delivery Service (BDS), and Document Delivery Service (DDS).
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) : Request physical books that are not available at your current USM library location. Requests may be fulfilled through inter-branch borrowing within USM or from external libraries.
Book Delivery Service (BDS) : Have USM library books delivered directly to your address via RBAS. This service is available exclusively to USM postgraduate and distance learning students. Users are required to pay postage or courier charges ONLY, which are processed through the system.
Document Delivery Service (DDS) : Request digital copies of journal articles or book chapters that are not available in the USM Library’s electronic resources. This service also includes Pay-Per-View (PPV) requests.
